Ah, Finally, Technorati Gets my Pings!
Sweet … put in a complaint a few times. Seems that their update engine was not sweeping my blog. All the ping stuff is in the right place. I hadn’t been updated in over 120 days … I’ve been posting, they’ve been dropping …
Anyway, nice to see this:
Even though this means nothing at all, I kinda like that number.

I went thru the same thing with them a while back, no idea what caused it, I talked to the same CSR several times and it finally started working right, then, TTLB wouldn’t pick up my stats on Word Press… Had to place that TTLB plug in… This blogging stuff is NOT as easy as some folks think it is once ya get away from the freebies…

Yep, that blogger was a kind of heroin, huh? I really don’t miss the slow uploads of my posts and the constant “Update Entire Blog” crap! Ugh. That and the sucky trolls make it tough to handle spam …

I had the same problem when I quit the Blogger addiction. I’d ping, ping, and ping again with no difference. I even installed the multi-ping plug-in to no avail. Same trouble with TTLB.
Then one day, Technorati “found” me. Hooray! TTLB soon (maybe a month) followed suit. Hip-hip-hooray! I don’t get it… but I’m glad you got “found”, too!

I know weird that this is only going on with Technorati. TTLB has been OK for me, or at least it’s been sorta OK on my counts. Logging in and claiming my blog on TTLB took quite a while ahh, the trials and tribulations of databases and applications on the web.
It’s even harder to end up on The Bear Flag League!!! Being a Native Californian, and a milblogger, you’d think it’d go pretty smoothly …
