Thanks to all of you that continue to come back and check if "Fix4RSO" is still breathing! :)

Laurie, you know, I got chills when I read your comment. I was at work on the 11th, and said almost the very same thing to our accountant (we were across from one another in the office). She was asking about all the planes coming into Moffett NAS - lots of hot guns on that day. :) We had so many different aircraft and choppers coming in, it was almost too much for an ex-USAF plane-lover like myself.

It really got the hair to stand up on the back of my neck. I looked at her and said, "We're going now, I know it." All conviction in my voice. The goosebumps are 'cause I suspect that that is what you heard from your coworker as well. :)

Thanks for comin' by Gawfer and Mike! I know, it's weird when an Air Force guy can talk like this, huh? :) As TexasFred say's in my next post after this one (NEVER Show the Palm of your Hand), "Zoomies do good sometimes…" ... :) as you know, Gawfer, Fred's a laugh a second! :)

Take care everyone, and God Bless!

Today there are tears of loss. For some, it is loss of a loved one. For others, it is loss of innocence. One defining moment for me on 9/11/01 was when a co-worker came in my office to use my phone. He told me he had just heard the Pentagon was hit. A Navy reservist, he said "this means war". I will never forget the look on his face, and the sound of his voice. I can't understand why there are so many who have forgotten that this means war.
